Flexible fitting
With a range of mounting options, including wall mount brackets and an optional heavy-duty tamper proof bracket, the XDL12TT-WE is incredibly versatile and adaptable to any installation requirements; delivering the perfect angle and coverage pattern required.
Also, to avoid any interference and to provide the option of fitting two detectors back to back to provide 24m range and 180° volumetric coverage if necessary, the XDL12TT-WE comes with three different microwave frequency bands so you can fit with confidence.
Easy installation
One of the key features that makes the XDL12TT-WE easy to install is the Enforcer two-way wireless protocol, which is embedded into all Pyronix peripherals. This offers a host of easy and efficient installation benefits:
One-Push-To-Learn
This feature allows easy learning to the control panel with just a bush of a button. This enhances installation efficiency allowing you to fit more systems into your day.
Walk test
After the learning process is complete, a quick and easy walk-test can be performed, with audible indication of a presence within the detection area.
Status LED lights
Equipped with Tri-detection technology (TT) to prevent false alarms, the XDL12TT-WE’s status LED’s will provide visual indication that all 3 sensors are active.
Adjustable MW/PIR
If needed, adjustments can be made to the microwave range and PIR coverage angle, to deliver the perfect protection of any outdoor terrain up to 12m. This could include slight and harsh gradients in areas such as driveways or gardens.
Strength Signal Indicators
Finally, you can even check the signal strength directly from the XD itself, in real-time, with Strength Signal Indicators (SSI). The detector LED’s will give a reading of green for good and red for bad; delivering reliable and dependable connectivity to the panel.
Extending the value
The XDL12TT-WE can provide real-time notifications whenever the perimeter is breached, directly to the end user’s smart device via the Pyronix app. This is accomplished by combining the XD with the Enforcer V10’s switcher and special log features and enabling the notification alert in the PyronixCloud.
By programming the detector as a switcher within the panel to trigger a perimeter breached notification, rather than an alarm, users are provided with 24/7 perimeter protection with real-time ‘Perimeter Breached’ alerts; keeping them up to date with their security, whilst on-the-go.
Additionally, you can link the LightCamera to our XD outdoor detectors to provide advanced video verification capabilities right to user’s smart device via the always-connected app.
When the outdoor detector is triggered, the linked LightCamera clips video 15 seconds pre and 10 seconds post alarm. The user will then receive an audible “perimeter breached” voice push notification to alert them, along with video verification.
Seeing the activity leading up to and after the activation, they know exactly what’s happening, so they can take proactive action; speaking through two-way talk or activating the siren, as well as saving the video clip as evidence.
