What does the Enforcer V11, AndroidTablet, HomeControlHUB app and SmartPlug (and accompanying products) launch bring to the Pyronix offering?
Since the first Enforcer panel came out in 2011, we’ve looked to keep adding value, whether in terms of the panel’s features or in devices that can be added to it.
It’s really important to us that we’re giving our customers the best platform to deliver to their customers. We’re only successful if they’re successful.
The Enforcer V11 adds to this, with a range of features that takes it to that next level of value – covering pretty much any installation requirement.
The new touchscreen control station is something that’s really exciting with this release, as it combines the new 10” AndroidTablet, which is only available through distribution, with the HomeControlHUB app. It gives the end customer an all-in-one platform for their security, as well as not only a fantastic upselling opportunity for our installers, but also a fully functional and portable LCD programming keypad on their maintenance visits.
Meanwhile, the SmartPlug adds even more upselling opportunity, with value-added integration.
By bringing everything into one platform, that’s easily controlled by the end customer with the touchscreen control station, every installation has more potential.
What new features does the Enforcer V11 have and what are the benefits to installers and users?
End user requirements are constantly changing, so we’ve got to be constantly changing too. Our development team know this and the work that’s gone into the Enforcer V11 makes it the most advanced and flexible solution we’ve released.
The addition of occupancy monitoring can give users that added peace of mind that their elderly relatives and loved ones are ok; with our installers able to set up timers on key devices around the home to make sure movement’s picked up within a certain timeframe. If it isn’t, a set response can be programmed, depending on what the user would like to happen, whether this is a push notification to another user on the system, or even a notification to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
Another great feature is supervision by zone. This can protect the user’s vehicles when parked outside their property, without risking any false alarms when they’re parked away. This adds even more value to the system for the end customer and a key selling and upselling opportunity for our installers.
Lastly, the Enforcer V11 now has Wi-Fi communication built physically onboard the main PCB, so the installer doesn’t have to add comms, with a WPS button added to pair the panel with the customer’s existing Wi-Fi router in a matter of seconds – making installation much quicker and much more efficient.
How does the introduction of the AndroidTablet with HomeControlHUB app change the Pyronix offering?
The AndroidTablet is a big step forward in technology and innovation. The flexibility to control home security and automation has never been like this before. The AndroidTablet and HomeControlHUB app, which is available to download from the Google Play Store, make controlling security so easy for the user – they can use this portable touchscreen control station to view their cameras, control automation with the SmartPlug or their security, while the installer can even use it as a portable keypad during maintenance visits.
What are the advantages of the AndroidTablet to the installer and users?
Well, to start with, HomeControlHUB pulls through the installer’s branding from their PyronixCloud account, so, just like with all our solutions, the installer delivers a fully uniform and professional package to their customers, while existing ProControl+ accounts can be connected to pull other Hikvision/Pyronix cameras on the property in to view via HomeControlHUB.
There’s also a quick share feature, so the end user can quickly and conveniently send the installer’s contact details to their friends and family; creating a quick and easy source of referrals for potential new customers.
The AndroidTablet provides a unique selling point to our installers. We know that our customers wanted smart home capabilities and now, by adding the SmartPlug, they can enter this market.
For the user, I’d say the most beneficial feature is the fact that they can use the AndroidTablet as their ‘remote control’ for their home with HomeControlHUB, where they can also view their cameras. If a LightCamera is fitted, the user can even activate its lights, listen and speak via two-way talk, or even use ‘sound on-demand’ to activate a loud siren to scare potential intruders, should they see anything suspicious.
What makes this even more appealing for the user, is that the tablet can be used as a tablet as well; checking emails, surfing the web or even playing their favourite games!
