Pyronix is delighted to announce it has achieved ‘Finalist’ status at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2018.
After releasing its innovative XD range of outdoor detectors, the ProControl+ smart device application and it’s range of Full-HD Wi-Fi Cameras over the last 12 months, Pyronix is shortlisted for Security Hardware Manufacturer of the Year at the coveted event.
“We are keenly motivated in going above and beyond in pursuit of delivering the absolute best possible standards across the business, so to be shortlisted for an award that recognises this is something we are really proud of,” Laurence Kenny, Pyronix Marketing Manager, said.
In its 19th year, the Security & Fire Excellence Awards highlights the best people, projects and processes that the security and fire sectors have to offer.
The Security Hardware Manufacturer of the Year is a brand-new category for 2018, that recognises hardware vendors that have gone above and beyond in several core areas.
These areas include innovation, marketing, commitment to high physical, integration and cyber security standards, as well as being a good employer and building products that meet or exceed the latest environmental and energy usage standards.
“This is a truly special category to be shortlisted for,” Laurence said.
He continues: “As the industry continues to change and adapt in new technological landscapes, so does Pyronix – its product offering, its communications, its support, as well as its cyber security, encryption and environmental responsibilities.
“Everything we do is meticulously developed with the security solution, customer and best practices in mind, so to see such hard work payoff with a nomination for this brand-new award category is a fantastic endorsement.

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Wednesday 21 November at London Hilton, Park Lane.
