Facet | 凹槽

A facet is a small face on a PIR lens. The facets concentrate the infrared radiation on to the pyro-sensor allowing for longer distances and better coverage.

An emergency alarm, such as a fire or burglar alarm, that is set off unnecessarily/accidently and triggers a response from the alarm panel. False alarms waste public resources as emergency responders spend time and money responding to an incident that is not a real emergency.

Final Exit | 最终退出

An 'Input Type' that arms the system when opened then closed during the exit timer. When the system is armed, it will initiate the entry timer when triggered.

Fire Activation | 火警启动

A signal transmitted by an input connected to the system that is programming as 'Fire'. This would typically be an input that detects heat, fire or smoke. The control panel can be programming to signal to ARC who in turn will report this to the fire department.

Fire Alarm | 火警

A system that detects and reports a fire in the protected premises, detects and reports water flowing in a sprinkler system, or detects and reports dangerous conditions such as smoke or overheated materials that may combust spontaneously. This would be a separate system than the one for protecting against intruders.

The detector can be fitted with a range of mounting options to deliver the perfect angle and coverage pattern required.

Flood Detector | 漏水探测器

For detection of damage caused by water/flooding, consisting of a basic device and a water detector (always mount sensors at a position at which damage caused by flooding would occur first).

Follow | 跟随

A 'Follow' is a type of output that is programmed to trigger when a specific event has occurred. These are usually events such as when an input has triggered or an area has been armed. This can be programmed to follow an input when system is armed or disarmed.

Foot Rail | 轨座

A sensor that can be activated by a person's foot to trigger a duress alarm signal.

Forced Arm | 强制布防

When this option is enabled, the panel will still arm regardless of an open input. The open input will be omitted/bypassed as long as the omit/bypass attribute is enabled on the input.

Fresnel Lens | 菲涅尔滤镜

The design of a Fresnel lens allows the construction of lenses of large aperture and short focal length without the mass and volume of material that would be required by a lens of conventional design. A Fresnel lens can be made much thinner than a comparable conventional lens, in some cases taking the form of a flat sheet. A Fresnel lens can capture more oblique light from a light source, thus allowing the light from a lighthouse equipped with one to be visible over greater distances.
