LED Light Pipe | LED光管

This concentrates the light emitted from the LED on the PCB of the product to the place (usually on the outer casing) where it needs to be visible.

Light Emitting Diode (LED) | 发光二极管

A semiconductor diode, that produces light when a certain low voltage, forward bias, is applied to it. Like a normal diode it conducts only in one direction.

Line Seizure | 线路捕捉

Alarm systems that communicate through telephone lines are designed to take over the line when an alarm is activated. This will disconnect anyone on the phone and will also prevent any incoming or outgoing calls to be made on the line the alarm system communicates on until the alarm is fully transmitted to the central station.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) | 液晶显示屏

A screen for displaying text/graphics based on a technology called liquid crystal, where minute currents change the transparency by changing the polarization angle. The advantages of LCD screens are very small power consumption (can be easily battery driven) and low price of mass-produced units. The disadvantages are narrow viewing angle, slow response, invisibility in the dark unless the display is back lighted, and difficulties displaying true colours with colour LCD displays.

Local Alarm | 本地报警

For this alarm the transducers in the internal and external areas are sounded.

Low Battery Consumption | 低电池消耗

This term only applies to wireless peripherals on the system. Devices are told to sleep or wake up by the panel using our two-way wireless technology, conserving battery life and allowing for maximum power output for range, reliability and security.

Low Temperature Sensor | 低温传感器

A sensor that detects a lower than expected temperature. I.E. Unattended industrial process systems, a heated building subject to damage or whose contents are subject to damage due to below-freezing temperature, wet-pipe sprinkler systems, etc.
